The interest of our company, which is a family company, in seed production started in 1972 when it produced wheat seeds on a contractual basis for Tahirova Turkish-German Farm. In the 1980s, contracted seed production was carried out from various seeds to private seed companies. Since 1995, it continues to carry on its seed growing activities more technically by recruiting experienced technical staff who have worked in private sector organizations. Agrotan Tohumculuk still carries out certified production in onion, spinach, pea, wheat and paddy seeds. At the same time, it constantly renews itself by continuing its research and development studies with its existing infrastructure and experienced technical staff, by finding new varieties that are suitable for changing conditions that the producer desires.
