APRAUNT 400 SC is an 'insect growth regulator' (IGR) insecticide containing the active substance of Buprofez and is effective by contact and stomach. It causes death by slowing down the skin change of nymphs and larvae. Larvae that cannot synthesize chitin cannot change their coat and die. In addition, the egg laying rate of the adults exposed to the plant protection product decreases. With these features, APRAUNT 400 SC is a plant protection product recommended in integrated control programs.
