Aşılı Hıyar

It is highly resistant to soil-borne diseases such as fusarium and oxysporum. The number of plants planted per decare can be optionally planted 30% to 50% less, and the harvest time is longer than the straight seedling, and therefore the total amount of product taken from the decare is higher.

Why Should You Use Grafted Cucumber Seedlings?

  • It is more resistant to some diseases caused by the soil. (Fusarium oxysporum, etc.)
  • It adapts to adverse soil and climatic conditions more quickly.
  • The plant clings to the soil and transitions to the new one faster (depending on rootstock performance).
  • The number of plants planted per decare can be planted 30% to 50% less depending on demand.
  • Since the root structure of the grafted plant is strong, the harvest period is longer than the straight seedling, and therefore the total amount of product taken from the decare is higher.

Points to Consider in Planting and Cultivation Stages

Before and after planting, the graft point and above should never be in contact with the soil.
Before planting, the seedling should be watered satisfactorily while it is in the viol, and after planting, life water should be given enough.
In order for the plant to take root well in the soil at the beginning, dewatering should not be done after the first watering (life water). Otherwise, the upper plant may be stressed and try to root into the stem, so plant loss may occur.
In general, zucchini rootstocks are not resistant to root knot nematode. Necessary measures should be taken.
