CATE Zn-P is a highly concentrated formulation containing Phosphorus, Potassium and Zinc. CATE Zn-P is applied to eliminate zinc and phosphorus deficiency in the early period of the plant and/or to ensure the re-stocking of nutrient reserves in the plant for the next season after harvest.

Phosphorus is an essential element for root growth, energy transport and the production of enzymes. It is mobile in the plant, less mobile when in the soil. In addition, in soils with high pH, they combine with the calcium in the soil to form different forms of calcium phosphate and it becomes difficult for the plant to take it. For this reason, phosphorus fertilization should be done to increase phosphorus uptake from the soil, and in some special cases, the plant should be supported with foliar phosphorus applications. Phosphorus deficiency causes bruising on plant leaves and stems. Growth is weak and root growth is limited. Buds develop weaker than normal.

Zinc plays a role in many enzymes. It makes bushes or rosettes in plants. In zinc deficiency, plants need to form a more dense root system. For this reason, upper part growth is disrupted, tillering is reduced in grains, and the stem is shorter than normal. According to the researches carried out in cooperation with Tübitak- NATO-Ministry of Agriculture - Universities, 50% of Turkey's soils are very poor in terms of zinc content.

With the additional potassium in the content of Cate Zn-P , it contributes to water intake, evaporation and plant quality. The main organs in terms of plant nutrition are the roots. Therefore, foliar fertilization is not correct instead of soil fertilization. However, according to the results of agricultural analyzes (leaf, soil, tissue, water), by targeting deficiencies, supplements made from leaves can provide great benefits. Nutrient uptake from the leaf also has a positive effect on the nutrient uptake of the root.

Cate Zn-P can be applied on leaves as well as it can be easily used with drip systems from the soil due to its acid character. It increases the uptake of phosphorus from the soil by the plant.
