BASF Launches Global Registration of New Eco-Friendly Insecticide

Axalion is a unique representative of the class of chemistry discovered by BASF. With its mode of action and its ability to spread within the plant, Axalion will provide farmers with extremely effective control of many pests that cause yield losses in crops, including whitefly and aphids.

Axalion quickly stops the feeding of pests and ensures higher quality and optimum yield in plants. At the same time, extensive testing by BASF has shown that Axalion is environmentally friendly to soil and aquatic organisms, pollinators and beneficial insects, including birds.
