A total of 55.3 million tons of potatoes were harvested in the EU in 2020. Germany, the largest potato producer of the European Union, realized 21.2% of the union's potato production with its production.

Following Germany, Poland produced 16.4% of the union's potato production, France 15.7% , the Netherlands 12.7% and Belgium 7.2% . These 5 states, which are members of the European Union, meet about 75% of the EU's potato production .
