This increase in production is due to the preference of high-yielding varieties and the use of modern greenhouse technologies, among other factors. As a result of the modern greenhouse investments and the technologies used, the efficiency in greenhouse vegetable production increased by 14.3% compared to the previous season and reached 47.2 kg per m2.

From modern fifth generation greenhouses, yields of about 100 kg per m2 for tomatoes and 160 kg per m2 for cucumbers (cucumbers) were obtained.
