Kırşehir Ahi Evran University, which was selected as a pilot university in the field of Agriculture and Geothermal; Within the scope of the "Clustering in Thermal Greenhouses" project, it started to produce galia type melons with soilless farming technique in the R&D greenhouse where research activities continue.

Together with Kırşehir Ahi Evran University, which previously provided support to investors by producing products such as tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers and eggplants in Thermal R&D greenhouses, Kırşehir became one of the important cities of Turkey, especially in tomato production. This time, the university started melon production in the R&D greenhouse and increased its product range. With the new investments to be made in the coming years, Kırşehir will become one of Turkey's most important production centers in the field of thermal agriculture.
