Nutrients are Food for Plants and Humans

According to the projections, the world population will reach 9.8 billion in 2050 and if the current conditions continue , an ecological resource equivalent to 2.3 worlds will be required for this population to survive . In addition to the increasing population, the demand for plant production will increase exponentially due to the change in nutrition and consumption habits.

However, natural resources have a limit and we have already exceeded those limits. For this reason, poverty is increasing and access to healthy food is getting harder. The agricultural sector is struggling due to extreme climatic events, deforestation, environmental pollution, unsustainable agricultural practices, unsustainable management of lands and watersheds, and reduction of local income sources.

Fertilizers, that is, plant nutrients, have a key role in the development of agriculture, which is a vital sector, and in increasing agricultural production in a way that yields more from less land.

Because when used correctly and in a balanced way, fertilizer directly affects 50% of food production with the increase in yield it provides.
