Inaho Inc., based in Japan, offering robotic automation solutions in agriculture, started its activities in Europe as Inaho Euorpe BV as of April 1, 2021. Apart from the tomato harvesting robot, the company also aims to address the challenges faced by farms in Europe.

The robot developed by the company for the harvest of snack tomatoes is fully automatic and can work day and night. The robot, which can work up to 12 hours on a single charge, can harvest ripe fruits by identifying them according to their color and size, with its artificial intelligence algorithm.

Inoha, which started its tomato harvesting robot development in 2020, continues to work with Japan's leading manufacturers to collect feedback and further develop 4 robots it has produced so far.

Aiming to make farming more sustainable as a mission, Inoha, with the solutions it offers; It will also contribute to labor saving and productivity increase in agriculture in Europe and other regions.

Sohya Ohyama, co-founder and CEO of Inaho ; “Farms and producers in various countries are suffering from labor shortages as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to the global pandemic, rising wages for farm workers are becoming an increasing challenge for businesses in agriculture.
