At the ceremony held in Brussels, the capital of Belgium, as a result of tastings by wine tasters and prestigious chefs from all over the world, YOOM ™ tomato with its extraordinary taste received an impressive score of 91.3% and was awarded the three-star superior taste award.

The YOOM™ tomato, judged by a professional jury of over 200 taste experts:

  • 91.3% in overall scoring
  • The image is 93% for its attractiveness and distinctive color
  • 91% for taste
  • 91% for its aroma
  • 91% for sweet and sour balance
  • It has a positive score of 89% for its texture, which is an important hedonic (arbitrary) factor in foods.

Stjin Roelandt, a 3-star Michelin star in the jury panel, stated that the evaluations went through a very strict process.

YOOM ™ tomato, which emerged as a novelty with its extremely attractive purple color, wonderful taste and vivid appearance, is becoming a reason of choice for consumers, as it provides more vitamins and anthocyanins compared to normal red tomatoes, in addition to its magnificent taste.
